Tonight was our stake swim party and BBQ. It couldn't have fallen on a worst night, because the weather today was awful. Completely abnormal compared to the rest of the week! Its been hot hot hot all week... and today, a stormy rain cover came in, turned the sky orange and the winds blew like crazy! More than once during dinner, someone's plate would be swept away by the wind and food thrown in the air. Sand was blowing out of the volleyball pit which the kids thought was great, but we adults knew better all the damage flying sand can cause to eyes! But, Dakota still had fun playing in it! Isn't this picture priceless??
After the BBQ the pool finally opened to us, and we were able to swim for about 30 minutes before cold wind came sweeping through and froze the little ones, taking away most the fun. So, we headed home. But Dakota sure loves the water! She is definitely my fish!
