D.C. Days 1.2.3

Our travel day was much longer than anticipated. We had an unannounced stop in Denver which added about an hour and half to our day. We also got stuck on the freeway on the way home from the airport, so with the time change all in all we got in at 1am. It was about 13 hours of travel time. Dakota was a trooper! She didn't cry once... she only complained right about bedtime when she was having trouble settling down on the plane. She made friends with everyone everywhere we went. And she left each flight with a fan club. No kidding. And I've never seen her as friendly as she was with strangers. She went right to our neighboring seat and sat on her lap and played with her almost the whole flight to Denver. (see pic below) Of course she crashed in the car ride home and didn't wake till morning. I'm watching my niece and nephew--Adrienne and Cooper--while their parents are celebrating their 10 year anniversary. So far its been a party! We went to the IMAX and saw Monsters VS Aliens in 3D and the kids loved it. They had to wear these HUGE glasses but it was fun! We also went to an indoor playground that was awesome and only for little kids... It was perfect for Dakota and she had a great time. She loves being around Cooper and Adrienne and I love how much they entertain her! :) We're gonna be here for a while...
