Well, it poured rain all day so we didn't get to enjoy the Rendezvous in Lefthand Fork as much as we wanted to. Nonetheless, we made the drive up there, bundled up Dakota and ventured thru a few different tents. We came across a gruff older gentleman in one of the tents who wore a mustache, beard, and cowboy hat. He took a liking to Dakota and started talking to her. Boy did Dakota put on a show! She smiled and laughed for this man over and over. Pretty soon, we had everyone around stopping to check her out and watch her smile. Once again, she was charming and melted many hearts. Especially this old man's. Afterward, we met up with Doug's family for lunch in Logan. His sister Rachel, and our niece Lucy (16 months) were visiting from NYC. It was really nice to see everyone!

Bummer about the weather, but fun that you got to see family! Sounds like Dakota just charms everyone she meets!
