Tahoe (Friday)

Friday we checked out of our Marriott and went swimming for the morning. Then we moved our things to the lodge in the mountains. After babies took naps, we drove back to Emerald Bay and went for a beautiful hike up to Eagle Falls. It was absolutely stunning and made me want to live near there. Most of the group hiked above the falls all the way up to the lake, but due to the mosquitos and babies and lack of a husband present, I chose to stay at Eagle Falls with the Watson's and play with Trey and Dakota in the water. They had a blast. Trey and Koda have become quite the buddies this trip. When we first got to the falls, Dakota poked her head thru the rails on the bridge and looked down at the rushing water and said "Whoa, whoa, whoa..." about TEN times! I was cracking up. She had fun just playing with rocks on the trail and splashing in the water.... and of course playing with Jichan and Grandma Ma who loves to play hard with the babies! Thank you... wink wink!
