Dakota is 3/4 years old :)

I can't believe 9 months have come and gone! This little girl is so crazy fun! She grows and learns so much every.single.day! We fall more and more in love with her each day. At her doc appointment she weighed 17lbs 3oz and 26 1/2" long. It's a long way from where she came, but still only in the 15-20% for her age.

Ok, so this month she:

*Mastered crawling
*Gets into sitting position on her own
*Pulls herself up on EVERYTHING
*Can let go and stand on own for a few seconds at a time
*Taught herself to climb stairs (going up only)
*Feeds herself finger foods... enjoys baby puff snacks and bread
*Really holds the bottle for a full feeding
*Awful, awful ongoing diaper rash/yeast infection
*Drools like mad again... teething maybe??
*Plays peek-a-boo with others by ducking behind things and popping her head up
*Laughs and squeals with delight whenever she's enjoying herself
*Has some definite attitude when she doesn't get her way (oh boy)
*Sings along with music or other people
*Takes sporadic naps...thinks naptime is playtime now that she can pull herself up in her crib and jump in it!!
*Knows the actions for "down came the rain" in the Itsy-Bitsy Spider song
*Tries to stand up during baths
*Still LOVES Finding Nemo (I think its the only time she's still for minutes at a time)
*Loves to be around other children of all ages
*Loves to help mamma and daddy on their laptops
*Loves to climb all over mamma and daddy in bed
*Is a pill to change diapers and get dressed--always trying to roll over or crawl away
*She gives drooly open mouth kisses that are so sweet when she decides to dish
*She adores her daddy and always prefers her mamma

And she NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER stops moving!! We joke about her being an A.D.D. baby because she never holds still and can't focus on anything for more than a 1/2 second. We also affectionately call her "suicide baby" because she's always trying to nose-dive off stairs, beds etc. She's a mini daredevil! But she's soooo cute that its hard to ever stay annoyed with her unwillingness to sit still :)

Any bets as to when she's gonna start walking???
