Ryden 10 months

We are just head over heels with our Ryden. He is just about the cutest boy around these days. He has turned out to be such a great easy going baby. He is chubby and yummy and soft... I could eat him up every time I see his cute face. Except for the fact that his eyes are pretty big and his coloring is a shade lighter, he looks pretty Asian.
He army crawls around lightning fast and recently started crawling in proper form. He is pulling himself up on everything and standing around holding onto things. He's opening drawers and cupboards, pulling out toys and gettting around the house just fine. He can now climb up the stairs, but not down. And just after learning the stairs, he was obsessed for about a week and would cry at the door at the bottom of the stairs all the time until someone opened the door and let him climb up the stairs. He follows his brother and sister around everywhere. And they like to play little chasing games with him.
Ryden smiles all the time now. He is so happy all the time and is always so happy to see anyone he knows, but especially his family. He blows rasberries contantly and can cluck his tongue. He sleeps 12-14 hours a night now (straight thru) and it is heavenly! He is making up for all the really rough nights the first 6 months. He sleeps at night from about 8pm to 8 or 9am. Sometimes 10am. He takes 1-2 naps durind the day--one long or two short. He is generally happy unless he is teething. Anytime he is fussy now, I can look in his mouth and find a tooth cutting thru. The day he turned 10 months, he cut his 6th tooth. He cut 2 teeth in 4 days. And I can see two more ready to cut on top. He is also able to go from sitting to crawling and back to sitting on his own. He pretty much weaned himself over the past month. We started out with morning and evening feedings and bottles during the day, but then he started sleeping thru the night for so long and bottles and food during the day sufficed, so one day I suddenly realized we'd gone a couple days without breastfeeding. It was gradual and very unnoticeable, unlike any time before.
We discovered recently that he loves Mickey Mouse. He also likes watching Toy Story (loves Woody) with Oakley and Nemo. He also loves Super Why like the rest of my kids. We've spent a lot of time this summer at splash pads and swimming and he loves both! We've also been to the zoo quite a bit and just went there the other day with Mima and Dave. He rode the carousel for the first time and LOVED it. The picture above was on the ride. You gotta love that happy happy face! I just love love love this baby boy. He makes my heart smile at the thought of him! Love you, Ry!
