Meeting Grandpa

My dad and his girlfriend Andy came to town. There were two new grandsons that they hadn't met yet--Oakley and Mason. And they hadn't seen Dakota since she was just a baby. The night they got to town, we went to dinner at Red Robin, which we love. The kids immediately warmed up to them. The next night we went over for a night of dinner and card games. We stayed up pretty late having fun. On Saturday, we celebrated Oakley's birthday with them. We blew up a bunch of balloons, ate pizza (Oak's new favorite food), sang 'Happy Birthday' and opened presents.Then we just played and had a good time. Grandpa showed them how to rub the balloons to create static and make them stick to you. The kids loved it. I particularly think that my dad and Oakley bonded and Andy and Dakota bonded. It was a wonderful weekend and such a good experience for the kids. Here are some pics from the weekend...
