Dakota 5 Years

Dakota is such a big girl at 5 years old! She is so well rounded and such an interesting little girl. She loves pre school which she attends for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. She easily makes friends. Her best friends right now are Bailey Root, Mariah Pham, Lily Feil, and Cooper Gale. For her birthday, we celebrated at Chuck-E-Cheese with family and close friends. On her actual birthday, she also go to go with Grandma Yukie, Jichan, Marsha, and Melissa to dinner at Chilis and to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Hale Theatre. She loved it and told everyone she went to "Cools" for dinner. She has diverse interests such as Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, Tinkerbell, Meredith from Brave, and other Disney princesses. She loves gymnastics and swimming. She's become quite the swimmer this year after learning last summer. She can swim across the pool all on her own. She's also very good at gymnastics. She loves to be outdoors, riding bikes or hunting with her dad. Her favorite foods are grilled cheese and noodles of just about any kind. She is very creative and is always drawing/coloring pictures. She's slowly learning to read short words and has been going thru the first level of Hooked on Phonics. She loves to help clean and is a great helper. She can clean her room and make her bed. She is a great helper with her brothers and is looking forward to having a baby sister this summer. She knew it was her sister from the beginning when the rest of us were convinced it was another boy. She loves primary and is great at participating in singing, prayers and talks. She had a large part in the primary program and nailed it! She is well loved. She tries to be kind to everyone and is very thoughtful. She loves living at her Grandma Marsha and Jichan's house and spending extra time with them. Her favorite color is blue. She has an incredible imagination. She can play by herself for hours with stuffed animals, figures or dolls and has a blast. She's very interested in spelling and is asking me all the time how to write words. She is a chatter box and loves to describe movies or stories to people. She's also very animated. Dakota is the best big sister and daughter and we love her so much! Can't imagine my life without this little girl.
