Ryden 8 Months

Our Ry guy has grown so much. He makes us so happy.
The past month has been pretty rough with sleeping. We finally had to move him to the pack n play upstairs in a spare bedroom because he no longer fit in our room. He's been waking up every few hours every night and sometimes won't go back to sleep for 1-2 hours. It has been quite exhausting to say the least. I'm not sure if he's teething or if something else is wrong but we are trying to work it out. Despite the fact that it seems like neither of us is sleeping at night, he still is one happy camper during the day! He's smiley happy guy and loves to be involved with everything going on.
Ryden adores his siblings. He loves any attention they give and already likes to do things that they do, such as drinking out of a regular small cup. He doesn't mind when his brother lays right on top of him, pinning him to the ground. In fact, many times he is smiling or grabbing at him. He loves to listen to his sister's stories and jabbers with her.
He has become quite mobile. He is army crawling pretty well and rolls everywhere. He can get across the room if he wants to. He sits very well supported but still is a little tipsy if you leave him there alone. He eats a lot of finger foods and likes to sit in the highchair during meals. He also eats baby food regularly and longs for table food. We're starting to give him more of it. His two little bottom teefies have come in completey and he has a cute cabbage patch smile.
He definitely knows his family and is a little mama's boy. He's very aware of my whereabouts at all times. But he also knows many family members and friends that we see regularly, like Jichan and Marsha, aunt Betty, Melissa and Spencer.
He takes 2-3 naps per day and is starting to sleep for longer periods during them. He is very attached to his Pooh-bear blanket and really has a hard time sleeping without it. He is also a binky boy for bedtime and naps. He loves to jump in the Jumperoo and watches a few shows with Dakota and Oakley. He likes Nemo, Super Why, Baby Einsteins videos and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
His hair is just starting to fill in again. He is still in cloth diapers and doing well. He likes to take baths in the bath chair with his sibs. Pretty much wherever we are, he is happy to be! We love you, Ryden!
